Superhero Fun!

Come enjoy some Superhero Fun on July 29th from 11:00 am to 3 pm at Settlers Park in Meridian! We are going to have a bouncy house, art table, face painting, carnival games, and more. There is also a playground and splash pad at Settlers Park for you to enjoy! So bring your swimsuits, towels, and sunscreen. Some of our carnival games will be Lucky Duck, quarter toss, basketball, and more. Carnival games will cost $1 each try and you can win a bucket hat, backpack, sticker, glider airplanes, etc. A food truck will also be there so you might want to bring some extra money. There will be plenty to do for free, but we always appreciate donations. We will also be having a raffle for some amazing items. Examples:  Custom Vans designed by you! Vans backpacks, a basket from The Flying M coffee house, Indian Creek’s basket, drive-in movie tickets with popcorn and soda and so much more…. Raffle tickets are either $1 or $5 dollars. The $5 raffle items are a homemade sunflower quilt by Marilyn Aiton and a weighted blanket.

Names for the raffle will be drawn at 1:00 p.m. on the 29th at Settlers Park where items will also be handed out. We will be doing an online raffle ticket sale up until the day before (7/28/2023) the event. After this, ticket sales will then be at the event only.

Note: This was going to be our Superhero FUNdraiser and was going to be a much larger event, but with all of the changes My Places went through in the last month with our board there were a few things that we were not able to get done. So, we are scaling it down and still having a fun event. We hope that you can all attend. There are no RSVPs necessary for this event. Just show up whatever time works for you, but make sure you have enough time to participate in our raffle!
